What is the difference between HSE, EHS, and SHE?
EHS stands for environment, health, and safety. An industry department protects the environment, the health of employees, and the safety of employees working for the company. EHS is also often referred to as SHE or HSE in some industries. In the United States, this department is called EHS, and in Europe and the UK, this department is called SHE and HSE. Only the names or abbreviations differ, and the operation and function of EHS, SHE, or HSE are the same.
